Jerry passed away in December of 2022 after a tough battle against Leukemia. Jerry was extremely active in Pleasanton Girls Sports. He coached both his daughters in PGSA (soccer) and PGSL (softball) for 15+ years. He was also part of the PGSL board (was President) and brought PCA (Positive Coaches Alliance) to PGSL. He was inducted into the PGSL in 2005.
The Jerry Fourie Scholarship Fund been created to honor Jerry by affording girls to play softball who otherwise dont have the means.
